Sof-Tray Soft Sheets for Bruxism and Whitening — 1.5 mm

Sheet material for vacuum-forming trays. Whitening trays and nightguards used in dentistry are typically made from plastic sheets formed under vacuum so they fit precisely over the teeth. Sheet thickness is selected according to patient needs.

Sheet thickness selection

• 0.9 mm sheets: Generally suitable for standard whitening trays. Protects teeth during whitening and provides enough stability for treatment.
• 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm sheets: Recommended for patients who grind their teeth (bruxism). Extra durability helps protect against wear from night grinding.

Instructions

• Using a vacuum former, heat the Sof-Tray Classic Sheet until it sags about 2.5 cm so the plastic softens and adapts better to the model.
• Place the heated plastic over the tooth model and vacuum-adapt it for a precise fit.
• Allow the model to cool, then remove it from the vacuum former.
• The formed tray should fit the teeth precisely.
