Sable Seek caries detector contains FD and C dyes, and Seek caries detector contains glycol-based D and C dyes. Both are used to stain carious dentin.
Seek and Sable Seek stain demineralized dentin and are especially useful in hard-to-see areas such as undercuts in preparations, dark dentin, and the enamel-dentin junction. Both help identify calcified root canal orifices quickly and effectively. Green Sable Seek helps visualize decay in deep caries to help avoid pulp exposure.
