NuSmile NeoMTA 2 — root canal repair material

NeoMTA 2 is designed for easier mixing, higher radiopacity, and a whiter, brighter shade for better contrast against dentin. Bioactive material that supports dentin bridge formation. Non-toxic unlike formocresol; washout-resistant immediately after placement; sets much faster than many other MTAs. Mixes to a putty-like consistency for easy application and is stain-free.

• Meets ADA 57, ISO 6876, and ISO 9917-1 criteria
• Radiopacity: 6.5 mm Al when mixed to putty consistency; 5.4 mm Al when mixed for sealer use
• Working time at room temperature: ~10 minutes when mixed to putty; additional gel can be added if the mix starts to dry to extend working time
• Initial set @ 37 °C for putty consistency: 15 min; final set 1:45 h
• Flow for sealer use: 20 mm (> 15 mm as required)
• Film thickness for sealer use: 38–46 μm
