Astringent paste — gingival sulcus retractor and moisture control

Aluminum chloride–based paste that keeps the sulcus clean and dry for better visibility and moisture control. Long, thin, flexible single-dose tip for hygienic, simple, precise application directly into the sulcus. Two-stage viscosity: fluid at first for easy placement with low force, then stabilizes for optimum gingival retraction. Turquoise blue color contrasts well with gingiva. Easy to rinse after use. Up to about 50% faster than traditional cord techniques.

Indications

• Temporary retraction of marginal gingiva to keep the sulcus dry with healthy periodontium
• Before analog or digital impressions
• Before cementation of temporary and permanent restorations
• Before Class II and V restoration preparation
