Clinical use

Opalescence Boost is a conservative alternative for treating dark teeth that have internally discolored (as opposed to crowns, veneers, etc.) due to disease, injury, or medical treatment — for example congenital, systemic, metabolic, pharmacological, traumatic, or iatrogenic factors such as dental fluorosis, jaundice, tetracycline and adult minocycline staining, porphyria, trauma, and erythroblastosis fetalis.

The dentist can treat discolorations with Opalescence Boost in a highly focused and effective way.

Important notes

• After mixing, Opalescence Boost gel may remain in the refrigerator for 10 days.
• Before discarding syringes, draw water into the syringe and express the liquid into the sink. Repeat this several times before disposal.
• Make sure all used gauze is rinsed with water.

Warning

During in-office whitening, when mixing and applying Opalescence Boost, the clinician, assistant, and patient must wear protective eyewear with side shields.
