Dentsply TruNatomy Rotary Canal File — Sequence
TruNatomy™ is Dentsply Sirona’s latest creation in a long tradition of successful endodontic treatment solutions, alongside brands such as ProTaper® and WaveOne® known worldwide for reliability and performance.
What TruNatomy offers
- Smooth feel during preparation
- Improved performance and efficiency
- More space for debridement and debris removal
- Respect for natural tooth anatomy
- Preservation of tooth structure
Conservative endodontic access
Successful root canal treatment starts with adequate access to the pulp chamber. The ideal procedure reaches the canal orifices with minimal dentin loss. Remaining dentin is a critical foundation for a quality restoration after endodontic treatment. The more dentin preserved, the more options remain for a successful, durable restoration. A Conservative Endodontic Cavity (CEC) is therefore recommended with the TruNatomy™ system.
TruNatomy Orifice Modifier
Adapts the orifice shape to create an ideal entry for TruNatomy Glider and TruNatomy Shaping files. Thanks to its flexibility, diameter, and heat-treated NiTi alloy, it can preserve coronal anatomy. Also ideal when the canal enters the tooth at an angle rather than vertically. The Orifice Modifier is recommended as basic in the TruNatomy sequence.
TruNatomy Glider
Optimizes the glide path and provides a smooth transition between a K-file and TruNatomy Shaping files. Runs at higher speed with less torque for cutting efficiency. With only two cutting edges it meets less resistance, allowing higher ease of use and precision with less pressure. Heat treatment adds flexibility with improved fatigue resistance.
TruNatomy Shaping files
- Available in three sizes and lengths to treat a wide range of cases.
- TruNatomy Prime is suitable for most cases; TruNatomy Small and TruNatomy Medium address smaller and larger canals.
- Clinicians experience a fluid transition between TruNatomy™ Shaping files.
- All three shaping files combine a slim shape with a unique cross-section for better performance while leaving more space for complete debridement.
- Thin NiTi wire design: Maximum Flute Diameter (MFD) of 0.8 mm instead of up to 1.2 mm for most general variable-taper files.
- Off-center cross-section.
- Runs at higher speed with less torque for greater efficiency.
Safety and workflow
- Enhanced safety from greater flexibility and resistance to cyclic fatigue, reducing fracture risk.
- Intuitive, easy-to-learn endo solution that requires less shaping time, leaving more time for irrigation.
Slim off-center NiTi design (0.8 mm MFD) for conservative preparation with more debridement space.
